"Daydream" fine art prints measure 24" x 30" and are 6 color hand pulled screen prints on white archival 100# paper stock. Prints come signed and numbered by artist Don Pendleton in an edition of only 75.

I drew and designed the Daydream Series in the winter of 2004 and they were released in the spring of 2005 through AWS. In the time leading up to this series, I’d felt super burned out, mentally and physically. I’d been manning the graphics at the company for six years at this point and I felt like I’d been going in circles the past year or so. A lot had changed both within skateboarding and the brand itself since I’d come on board:
After the release of Photosynthesis, the company had bounced to one of the top selling brands and by 2004, sales had slowed down a bit. As the guy doing all the graphics, I felt a huge burden of trying to keep things at the top for the company and caught myself thinking too much about sales and what people seemed to want the graphics to look like.
This series was my official return to just trying to do something I was stoked on for myself without any thought for sales or expectations or identity. It kind of goes against one of the Golden Rules of design in some ways but that was the point. The composition was busy and crowded and a little chaotic but so was I at the time so it made sense to me…it was a reflection of an artist trying to find himself again after six years of running at full speed almost every waking hour and finally hitting a wall.
This one is a big boy: 24” x 30”… the largest art print I’ve done to date. It’s six beautifully scream printed colors on a nice, white archival paper, limited to 75 pieces, all signed and numbered. With the additional size and inks, this one is a little more than my past editions but I think it’s worth it.
